The Briarwood Lions defeated Valley 42-28 in the first round of the playoffs last Friday at home.

The Lions enter the game with a 9-3 record.... The Lions' defense is only allowing 8.9 points a game.

They qualified for the playoffs by finishing 2nd in Class 5A Region 4.
